Grievous-Juggernaut Media / Juggernaut / Cascade Class Cruiser

I finally decided to attempt a spaceship. After my first two [horribly modelled] multirole fighters/dropships, this was a breath of fresh air. Since I am amateur beyond comprehension, I only know a very small amount of keyboard shortcuts and overall things that Blender can accomplish. Therefore, I managed to pull this whole thing off using only Extrude, Loop cut, Scale (on X, Y, and Z axes), Grab/Move (on axes), and Add Cube and Cylinder. I think it turned out pretty well: The armament consists of: -2 large contactless railguns -2 dual coilgun rapid-fire medium turrets -6 free-electron anti-missile lasers -4 AA light chaingun turrets -4 AA medium-heavy chaingun turrets One thing I'm especially proud of is the Chaingins:

Unfortunately, this project has been postponed until further notice. We've just lost interest . However, 2 "Misheard Lyrics" videos are in the works (one is almost done), and "Steevie's Flight" and "Chaobert" will be up once we work out some issues with the files.

Grievous-Juggernaut Media / Juggernaut / Blender 3D Models
|
on: July 15, 2008, 04:31:44 pm
|
I recently started working with Blender 3D, and fortunately I didn't totally flop. First I did the Peregrin Falcon (a V-22 Osprey/UNSC Pelican inspired dropship), and the I made the alien Manta Ray (sorry if it sounds cheesy but please note that I named it after designing it). I've been running into some problems texturing them, though, so they'll just be grey models for now. Peregrin Falcon: Manta Ray: Also, a great resource for 3D models is Scifi Meshes.

Grievous-Juggernaut Media / Grievous' Doodle Journal / Grievous' Doodle Journal
|
on: March 22, 2008, 12:04:07 pm

Hello, and welcome to the very first installation of "Grievous' Doodle Journal". It think it would be fitting for everyone to know that Grievous DESPISES school, even though ours is probably the most lenient one in the state. He keeps a doodle journal with him everywhere and in it he vents his anger, joy, and overall comical insanity. I'm hoping to get two pictures up every week/weekend, maybe more every now and then. Well, here it is: WARNING: GRIEVOUS HAS HORRIBLE HANDWRITING! Read at you own risk!

The USAF Daedalus from Stargate with a remastered background. This one also had a reference picture. An Aurora, drawn froma paused video tape of Be All My Sins Remember'd (that explains the inaccuracy).

Other / General / Steevie's Family

This is the Lego Mutant (I like to say special or awesome) family of Steevie the Android Dog. "Uber-Battle Droid" was actually the first, but Steevie's now our star (you'll see why later; stay tuned for "Steevie's Flight"). NOTE:Don't worry about scrolling over, theres nothing but extra dead space. NOTE:We tried to make it blatantly obvious that this had bad "special effects", that's part of the fun. Uber Battle Droid with last minute helmet addition: Another angle: Without helmet: Steevie #1 (complete with red light-up stomach!): Oh no! Grimnak's going to eat Steevie! More perilous danger; beware the GIGANTIC SHOTGUN TITAN OF DOOM! (minus 2 bullets OF DOOM ) Steevie in all his close-up cuteish goodness: LegSwordLanceGunGuy next to his victim: Leg Impaired Skeleton: Leg Impaired Skeleton being abducted by Tod the slinky (posing as an alien probe): The whole family in front of our special background picture (scroll right on this one): Again, this time a mysterious Lucra Hulk is coming from the sky (scroll right on this one): And thats it! Sorry for the large pics, I might resize those later. As I said earlier, wait a bit for a movie about Steevie!
